We are grateful to all who participated in making the 15th annual Farm to Bay fundraiser a success. No matter the form of your contribution—be it a ticket purchase, a bid on one of our auction items, or a raised paddle—each action was a powerful step toward furthering our mission of inspiring the community to connect with and care for our coastal environment.

Your unwavering support allowed this year’s Farm to Bay event to raise an impressive $128,000 in net proceeds. These funds are instrumental in maintaining and improving our animal care, education, and sustainability programs throughout the year. 

Our sustainability team is proud to report that 95%, equivalent to 318 lbs of trash, of the total event waste was diverted from the landfill. The City of Chula Vista’s commercial composting facility and the use of many reusable and compostable items during the event contributed to our success.
