Learn about the endangered green sea turtle with a hike through the refuge to San Diego Bay, a nighttime scavenger hunt, games and crafts, and the rare opportunity to meet our sea turtle and other animal ambassadors up close! See what happens at the center once the lights go out, all while making unforgettable memories.

The sun sets early, and we celebrate with ‘spooky’ animal encounters, night hikes through the marsh, a mysterious scavenger hunt, slimy dissection, and more!

Fee Structure & Cancellation Policies:

A ratio of one responsible adult (18 and older) for every five children (ages 5-17) attending is required. A minimum of $1,800.00 is required to run a program for a maximum of 20 people. If your group has more than 20, the program fees increase on a per-person basis. You must pay the minimum fee ($1,800.00) at registration. Fees for additional participants must be adjusted and collected prior to the event. Please call to modify your registration. Fees are refundable up to 80% if canceled more than 1-weeks advance notice. Fees are non-refundable with less than seven days’ notice. Admin fees may be applied for excessive changes and last-minute moves – at the department’s discretion.
