After a full evening of hands-on activities and animal encounters, your group will snuggle down in your sleeping bags for a movie before drifting off to sleep. The next morning, your group will enjoy a continental breakfast and more opportunities to meet wildlife up close.

Sweetwater Snooze
Discover the secrets of Sweetwater Marsh and its animal residents after dark with fun, hands-on activities, crafts, a sunset hike, and loads of encounters with the local wildlife!
Sea Turtle Slumber Party
Explore the world of the endangered green sea turtle through turtle games, crafts, and stories, a hike through the refuge to San Diego Bay, and a rare opportunity to meet the Living Coast Discovery Center’s sea turtles (and other critters) up close!
Mysterious Midnight at the Marsh
The sun sets early, and we celebrate with ‘spooky’ animal encounters, night hikes through the marsh, a mysterious scavenger hunt, slimy dissection, and more!

Fee Structure & Cancellation Policies:
A ratio of one responsible adult (18 and older) for every five children (ages 5-17) attending is required. A minimum of $750 is required to run a program for a maximum of 15 people. If your group has more than 15, the program fees go up. You must pay the minimum fee ($750) at registration. Extra people fees can be adjusted and collected on the event day. Fees are refundable up to 80% if canceled more than 1-weeks advance notice. Fees are non-refundable with less than seven days’ notice. Admin fees may be applied for excessive changes and last-minute moves – at the department’s discretion.
