Operation Clean Sweep: Pepper Park
Join us and the San Diego Working Waterfront for the 34th annual Operation Clean Sweep cleanup at Pepper Park. Together, we will protect and care for our coastal environment! Participants will pick up trash throughout the park, try to spot wildlife near San Diego Bay, and learn how we can all make a difference by keeping our parks and waterways clean!

Those who register BEFORE August 14 will receive a FREE Operation Clean Sweep t-shirt and receive admission to the Operation Clean Sweep after-party!

Meeting Location: Pepper Park is located at 3299 Tidelands Ave., National City, CA 91950. We will meet next to the Pepper Park parking lot on the grassy area next to the restrooms and boat launching ramp. See map below! Look for the Living Coast Canopy!
Driving directions: Take the Bay Marina Dr. (Mile of Cars Way) exit in National City and head west. At the stoplight, turn left onto Marina Way. Follow Marina Way until it turns into W 32 St. then turn left onto Tidelands Ave. Parking is available in the parking lot next to Pepper Park.
Suggested parking: Parking is available at the Pepper Park Parking Lot.
Restrooms and Water: There are park restrooms available at this location.
Program Supplies: Buckets, trash bags, gloves, safety vests, and grabbers will be provided. Please make sure to bring water and wear comfortable clothes, closed-toed shoes, and sun/bug protection!
