Join us for the annual Halloween party at the Living Coast on Saturday, October 19, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Enjoy the eerie autumn ambiance with fun-filled activities, including Zovargo’s creepy crawlers encounter, and thrilling animal interactions. Sit for spine-chilling tales and treat yourself to various activities for all family members. Get ready for an evening of tricks, treats, and more at our after-hours Halloween bash.
General Admission (all ages): $30
Member Admission: $25
EVENT PARKING: Parking for the event will be in our main parking lot and free of charge! After parking, wait for the complimentary shuttle. The shuttle will be available to take you back to your car at any time throughout the event. Rideshares/taxis must be dropped off at the parking lot and take the shuttle. Accessible parking is available in the lot.

Throughout the evening, you’ll get to meet some of the faces of the Living Coast, like our snakes, birds, lizards, and more! - Arts & Crafts
Make your own Día de Muertos creations. - Creepy Crawly Room
Interact with some creepy crawly creatures and learn all about their amazing adaptations with our friends from Zovargo! - Chilling Science Lab
Unlock your inner mad scientist by conducting spooky dry ice experiments hosted by Science Guys of San Diego. - Spooky Tales of Chula Vista
San Diego Storytellers will join us to share spooky stories on the marsh at night! This is only for those brave enough to venture out in the dark!
Funded in part by the City of Chula Vista Performing and Visual Arts grant. - Día de Muerto Story Time
Learn about the meaning and traditions of Día de Muerto and enjoy some delicious pan de muerto.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase from My Pozole and Kayak Cafe.
